Kate Viel of the U22 Lady Sens wins a gold medal with Team Canada at the IIHF U18 Women’s World Championships in Vantaa, Finland!
Team Canada defeated Team USA in the Championship match on Sunday 3-0 to claim the world title. Team Canada went undefeated in the tournament with a 6-0 record with 40 GF and 5 GA. Kate finished the tournament with 5 points for Team Canada (1G-4A) and was a +8.
