Hoppner and Tarnowski headed to Lake Placid with National Women’s u18 Team!

Aug. 16, 2015

Tasza Tarnowski and Anonda Hoppner have earned the opportunity to represent Canada with the National Women's U18 Team in Lake Placid, NY.

The two OLS players spent 10 days in Calgary at the Team Canada U18 selection camp from August 6-16. They took part in fitness testing, off-ice training, on-ice practices, demonstrations, seminars and a game series.

In addition to inter-squad games with Team Red and Team White, the girls had the opportunity to play against some of the top U18 players from around the world that made up the IIHF all-star team.

Hoppner and Tarnowski will travel to Lake Placid, NY along with 21 other players for the series with the USA from August 17-23, 2015.

Former OLS Rebecca Leslie was also in Calgary with the National Women's Development Team and was also selected to travel to Lake Placid for their series with the USA.

Good luck ladies!
