CONGRATULATIONS!  to former Lady Sen Laura Cook (2018).

Laura is a defence and Senior Player on the Mount Royal Cougars women’s hockey team that won the U-Sport Championship this weekend in a thrilling 4-3 OT win over the Concordia Stingers. 

Mount Royal came into the championship weekend as Canada West finalists with the eighth place seeding. They began their campaign with a win over OUA Champions and No.1 seeded Toronto Varsity Blues, building over the weekend to claim the school’s first women’s hockey championship.
