HOMECOMING WEEK FOR FORMER SENS IN PWHL

Jan. 25, 2024

It’s been a busy week for Lady Sens Alumni in Ottawa as former players involved in the inaugural season of the PWHL returned to the city for games against the hometown team.

Former Sens goaltender Erica Howe (OLS 2010) got her first start for PWHL Toronto at TD Place on Tuesday Jan 23rd.

Rebecca Leslie (OLS 2014) was also in the line up and playing in Ottawa for the first time in her PWHL career.

Boston came to town on Wednesday Jan 24th with Alternate Captain, Jamie Lee Rattray (OLS 2010).

Rattray made her hometown visit a memorable one, scoring her first ever PWHL goal late in the first period. Boston scored a last minute goal to take the game 3-2.

To complete the Lady Sens' connections to the game Stephanie McKeough (OLS 2009) was behind the Boston bench as an Assistant Coach and Kenzie Lalonde (OLS 2012) was the play-by-play commentator for TSN.

These athletes, coaches and broadcasters in the professional game are an inspiration to our young players!
