Feb. 05, 2024

The Lady Sens General Manager Dana Mulvihill and the Lady Sens Committee are proud to announce the Coaching Appointments for the 2024-25 season.

We are pleased to welcome back Lady Sens coaches and to introduce new faces to our high performance program.

Hanna-Riikka Turpeinen will be returning as the Head Coach of the Ottawa Lady Senators U22AA team for the 2024-2025 season.

Hanna continues to bring her wealth of coaching and skills development experience to the U22AA program. Under her leadership the U22 team has experienced consistent success in elite league play and won an OWHA Silver Medal in the 2022-23 Provincial Championships. Hanna’s impressive technical skill set and personal experience as a high-performance athlete are key resources for the development of the team.

Sarah Olivier will return as Assistant Coach. Sarah brings firsthand knowledge to the U22 team from her experience both as a player and a coach;  she played NCAA Div I at Cornell University, serving as Team Captain in her senior year, spent two seasons with the Ottawa Raiders in the NWHL and played in Finland. Sarah has coached teams from all over North America, and will continue to take a lead role in developing the defensive capability of the Lady Sens.

New on the U22 bench will be Autumn Moors who joins the team as an Assistant Coach. Autumn is a graduate of the Lady Sens program. She played U SPORTS women’s hockey at Dalhousie University where she was Team Captain of the Tigers. Autumn’s background as a player, a leader and skills coach will be an asset to the team. Congratulations and welcome back to the Lady Sens Autumn!

Amleto Greco will return as the U18AA Head Coach for the 2024-25 season as he continues to bring his considerable hockey experience and commitment to the Lady Sens organization.

Amleto is a long-time volunteer within the Lady Sens and KGHA and a dedicated hockey coach with over 10 years of experience coaching and instructing competitive players from IP through Midget.

He joined the KGHA during the 2015-2016 season as a Head Coach and has been an Assistant Coach with a number of teams since then. In 2022-23 he was an Assistant Coach with the U15AA Lady Sens and also assisted on a provincial gold medal winning U13BB team, before moving to the U18AA Head Coach position in the 2023-24 season.

Amleto is a NCCP Development 1 Certified Coach and also coached with the KMHA and SSHD.

We are pleased to welcome both Jason Bosomworth and Casey Crupi to the Lady Sens organization; Jason will be the Head Coach U15AA and Casey will be the Associate Head Coach U15AA in the 2024-25 season.

Jason has experience coaching players from IP through U18 and is currently an assistant coach with KMHA's U16AA team. 2024-25 will be Jason's 20th season coaching minor hockey, and his first coaching in elite female hockey. Jason is committed to continuing the Lady Sens tradition of excellence through individual and team player development.

Casey has been a high level competitive hockey player and played with the National Capital Competitive Program, forerunner of the Lady Sens Program. This is her eighth season coaching girls hockey in the KGHA; she is currently the Head Coach for U15A. Casey is a big proponent of ensuring the work ethic is always set at a very high standard, while also leaving lots of room to have fun and develop.

We look forward to working with Jason and Casey as they bring their experience and dedication to minor hockey to the new challenge of their U15AA coaching roles. Congratulations and welcome to the Lady Sens organization!

We are confident that all the Lady Sens coaching staff will teach, encourage, challenge and support our players toward their full potential in the 2024-25 season.
