Fresh from PWHL Ottawa’s 5-3 win over Toronto on Saturday, the U22 Lady Sens welcomed Brianne Jenner to their home rink on the weekend.
Free agent signing and Captain of PWHL Ottawa are just the latest accomplishments in Brianne’s storied career, which includes two Olympic gold medals with Team Canada, three Women’s World Championship golds, two Clarkson Cups with the Calgary Inferno of the CWHL and collegiate hockey at Cornell University.
Brianne met with the team for a question and answer session where she relayed her own experiences in elite hockey and gave some excellent advice from the lessons she has learned along the way.
It was an exceptional opportunity for the young athletes to hear what it takes to be the best from the very best.
A big thank you goes to U22 Assistant Coach, and Brianne’s fellow Cornell Women’s Hockey Alum, Sarah Olivier for setting up the meeting.
You are an inspiration Brianne, we appreciate you spending time with the team!
